What to include when asking for help
Please include a short description of what happened and the device you were using, such as iPhone or iPad model if known. Do not send a child's full name, school, address, or other sensitive personal information.
Privacy and data
Sprout Math version 1 is designed to work offline. It does not use accounts, advertisements, third-party analytics, telemetry, cloud sync, or in-app purchases. The developer does not collect app data. Learning progress and preferences stay on the device.
Parent Settings includes local controls to reset learning progress or delete the child profile and local learning data from the device.
Uninstalling removes child data from the app sandbox. If iOS retains parent-gate information in Keychain, Sprout Math clears it when the reinstalled app launches for the first time.
Parent settings
A four-digit parent PIN protects settings, progress reports, privacy controls, and local data deletion. If you have not created a PIN, the app asks you to create one before opening Parent Settings. Retry limits apply, and the app relocks parent access when it leaves the foreground or after five minutes.
Pricing and future purchases
Version 1 is free and has no purchases, subscriptions, advertisements, or paywalled lessons. If a future release introduces optional paid add-ons, the app will show the price and terms to a parent before purchase. The purchase opportunity will be behind the parent gate and will use Apple's in-app purchase confirmation. No purchase is required for the content included in version 1.
